A - After deciding to meet Private Investigation Company talk to as many of them as possible so that you can make your assessment about the capabilities of the person talking to you and the company you are likely to deal with. Preferably visit their office and see their infrastructure and definitely investigate about them before giving your assignment to them.

Q - Why is this amount charged?

A - You will understand that to do the above a very high level of expertise and experience, this costs us our very expensive and professional Executive time and 25 years of education and experience that we put into studying your case.

Q - Any other reason of charging this amount?

These Charges are also on account of the below reasons

Ours is a Commercial Organization wherein we have to spend huge amounts of money towards advertising in Newspapers, Yellow Pages, Printing & Posting of information material informing and educating our unfortunate but prospective clients about our company and the various services provided by us. This is evident from your this visit to us.

We have to recruit, train & maintain a very highly Qualified, Professional & Experienced Team of Staff whose Salaries, Petrol, Vehicle maintenance, Hiring of vehicle, Investment on Mobile Phones & Payment of the Bills, Risk Insurances, Incentives, Daily Normal Allowances and Allowances for Working under Hazardous Conditions Cases and Expenses, on account of appointing a very senior officer for coordinating and constantly Advising, Checking, Rechecking and Counter-Checking the Complex Execution of your case

We also have other expenses on maintaining an elaborate and professional Office infrastructure by spending huge amounts of money on Establishing, Furnishing, Equipping and Investing Very Huge Amounts on the Hardware (Detective Equipment)  & constantly maintaining   and keeping them ready for action as and when required.

Besides the above, very huge capital investment that goes into the above, we also have the normal monthly recurring expenditures on paying the Office Rents, Maintenance, Staff Salaries, Staff Welfare, Stationery, Electricity Bills, Telephone Bills, License Fees, Government Taxes, etc., have to be paid through the earnings out of our Business.

Our Staff at different levels spent huge amounts to be qualified in this profession and thereafter, spent years to be experienced in Initially Analyzing your cases and subsequently executing the same, thousands of which have been successfully executed by us over the yeaRs

The Case Analyses Charges are also on account of the enormous amount of executive time, which costs money to the company, for every minute spent to listen to and analyze your case and thus the charges.

A large number of clients waste a considerable amount of our precious time and sometimes after spending our precious time, expertise and taking our advise and vanish on some pretext or the other and do not even return at all or shuttle around to other, so to say Security agencies which also claiming to the Detective Agencies which have mushroomed recently and being small timers and incapable of even understanding the case, leave alone executing the same but the client falls victim to the low amount that they quote and thus give the case to them  and after losing precious time and money come back to us. Thus, this is one of to be very important reason and method adopted by us to weed out the clients who are not serious about their cases but want to get free advises and opinions.

On paying the Case Analysis & Registration Charges, we are assured that a client is really serious in getting the investigation done by us and not whiling away, our and their time.

In many of the cases, the same can be solved by we giving advices and counseling the clients by either clearing their unfounded suspicions by virtue of our previous experience where others have lost huge amounts, piece of mind, time, energy etc.

Sometimes, we advise our clients, how to go about doing the Investigation themselves and not waste their hard earned money on Detective Agencies and thus this Case Analysis, Registration  & Consultation fees.

We have an extremely large infrastructure of offices and network of Detectives in most of the parts of the country and associates around the World. Maintaining and managing the same is very difficult and expensive but, far too many clients have so far been benefited in the past and we wish that many more in the future will be benefited in the outstation assignments (within the Country & Abroad), this is an added advantage to the clients due to which their charges are considerably reduced.

Understanding the above, we hope that you realize that you are dealing with a highly professional organization and thus the Case Analysis, Registration  & Consultation fees of only Rs 500/- requested to be paid by you is extremely reasonable.

Q - Do I lose this money?

A - No.   This Rs 500/- will be adjusted in the case fees, if the case is assigned to us.

Q - Is my meeting with you confidential?

A - Please be rest assured that your meeting with us and your Case Information & it’s outcome are confined to the four walls of this Office and kept Top Secret.

Q - Who are Sharp Detectives Private Limited? How long have they been around?

A - For this and many other queries can be answered in case you go to Our About Us section.

Q - How do I choose the right investigator?

A - The right investigator will take time to talk to you and answer all of your questions.

Q - What questions should I ask the investigator?

A - You should ask about his or her background and training, about costs associated with your case and anything else you may think of.

Q - What does it cost to hire an investigator?

A - Fees in the northeast run from $50 to $55 per hour plus mileage and expenses, which also vary by agency. Some agencies also take a retainer up front and ask you to sign a contract.

Q - Can the investigator guarantee results?

A - No, an investigator can only report the facts as he or she records them.

Q - What about references?

A - An investigator could refer you to professional clients such as lawyers or insurance companies, but the names of private individuals should never be divulged.

Q - What about licensing and other professional equirements?

A - Licensing differs from state to state as does bonding. Ask the investigator to give you the name of the licensing agency in his or her state to verify licensing.

Q - How long has the investigator been in business?

A - Again, the licensing authority in his or her home state can verify this case.

Q - Where does this information come from?

A - The investigator is legally allowed to obtain certain information from a number of legitimate sources. Private information, such as income tax records, are not available. In other cases, sensitive information such as motor vehicle, property ownership, etc. is generally open to review based upon each case.

Is the investigator affiliated with other professional organizations or associations? Hopefully, the answer is yes. We at Bri-Mel Investigations are members of various local, state, and national associations so that we may keep up with the trends, laws, etc. that affect our industry.

Q - Is private investigation work dangerous?

A - By and large, no. But in some instances it can be. Apprehending persons wanted for serious crimes is probably the most dangerous. But conducting surveillances in areas of high crime may be equally as dangerous. Danger arises when subjects of investigations learn the identity of the investigator. Safety and secrecy go hand-in-hand.

Q - How are you different from other Investigative agencies?

A - Usually, small investigative firms in New York usually act as a general contractor and sub-contract their work to other smaller firms. This is a no win situation for the client since two events will definitely occur; the client pays higher fees OR, the client will have un-experienced or un-qualified people to do the work. Larger investigative firms may charge reasonable rates, but they may not use former NYPD Detectives to conduct any investigations or surveillance. Some firms have even used college interns! NY Finest uses our own permanent staff of active or former NYPD Detectives. This assures the client will receive the highest level of expertise and at a reasonable price.

Q - How are you different from other Protective agencies?

A - See above with this added. Firemen are brave people. Construction workers are the backbone of America. However, we don’t employ them or use them for any security. If you request Armed Guards, make sure your security company uses them!

Q - I have never used a PI before - how does it work?

A - In a nutshell, you describe to us what sort of situation concerns you. Then we will either meet, or continue the discussion over the phone or via e-mail. We will then come to a general agreement of a "ball park" cost to accomplish your professional investigative objective. Next we ask for a Client Agreement to be signed and for clients from the general public, we ask for a retainer.

Q - Why do we have to sign a Client Agreement?

A - During the course of an investigation, we are digging out information & observing activities about individuals and / or businesses. We must have documentation at all times to demonstrate that the work we are doing is for professional purposes and is completely legitimate.

Q - Why do we have to pay a retainer?

A - Past experience dictates that we take a retainer from the general public to ensure our new client will remain committed during the course of the Investigation.

Q - Is there a guarantee of results if I use Sharp Detectives Private Limited?

A - While we do not guarantee any particular result from an investigation, we can say that the vast majority of our clients do get their investigative needs answered by our services.

Q - Do you have satisfied customers we can talk to?

A - Absolutely - just ask us, we will be more than happy to provide you with a list of satisfied clients that you can contact.

Q - On Maintenance Enforcement investigations - can you determine if my former spouse is working & if so where? What about the "underground economy".

A - If the person being investigated is working in a proper employment job, this can be determined fairly easily. If the person is working "under the table", all we can do is surveillance & observe the activities. Our experience indicates that "home based" employment is the most challenging to uncover.

Q - Does Sharp Detectives Private Limited pursue investigations involving the well being of children living with a hostile former spouse?

A - We have been asked, and have completed successfully several investigations where we have observed the lifestyle of custody parents for non-custodial parents.

Q - Does Sharp Detectives Private Limited handle infidelity investigations?

A - Recently we have had a number of these types of cases - we have the expertise to do these cases well!

Q - Would Sharp Detectives Private Limited check up on a fantasy "sweetheart" from my high school days?

A - Sorry - the short answer is no. Sharp Detectives Private Limited turns down a number of these types of requests. Sharp Detectives Private Limited will only undertake professional cases, which involve either ongoing or potential legal matters. We do not do curiosity checks, nor do we do any investigating for political purposes.

Q - Does Sharp Detectives Private Limited have contacts with lawyers?

A - Sharp Detectives Private Limited has had dealings & contacts with individual lawyers practicing in family law, debt collections, labour law, corporate law and of course civil litigation and personal injury.

Q - Why does Sharp Detectives Private Limited get involved in investigating consumer scams like weight loss scams and other health fraud issues when the Company gets no compensation for such investigations?

A - Capt D K Giri, C & MD of Sharp Detectives Private Limited, has a fair amount of knowledge & contacts in this investigative area.

The following answers most questions.

As regards job size, practically no job is too small or too large for us. As long as the purpose is acceptable, size does not matter, usually. We are quite economical, and handle a great variety of assignments, ranging from large cases involving a team effort, to just small tasks needing only one staffmember for a little bit of time.

Valuable cases are handled by seasoned senior staff. Small cases are assigned to the appropriate staff, all of whom have been retained on the basis of their resourcefulness and diligence.

Investigations, analysis and client satisfaction depend upon clear communications and understandings at all levels - between the client and our point of contact, among our agents & analysts, managers and field researchers, and with the other officials and other possible information sources we call and go out to.

Thus, in terms of operations, we run smoothly and efficiently.

We are masters of the art of finding information in society. We retain only intelligent and resourceful analysts with positive attitudes. The information you want is out there somewhere, and it's usually feasible to find it. It's just a matter of how good we are.

Good private investigators are motivated by the challenges of the jobs, enjoy exploring different realms of society and life, and like people of many kinds.

Many clients are surprised and impressed when they find that their case is not such a longshot or so difficult, after we analyze their case, identify possible leads, and formulate a systematic strategy. Our profession has standard systems and methods, but it also needs good ideas people and agents who won't miss clues, and that is where we excel.

First, we are familiar with how information is formally collected and organized anywhere in India, and where it exists.

Secondly, we are also experienced with the best ways to gather and solicit additional information, be it through our network of veteran contacts, targeted groups or areas, and/or the mass media.

Importantly, our staff is self-confident, personable, trustworthy and able to work with a variety of people in Our society in a good spirit. (This kind of work has a variety of adventures and intangible rewards, too, compared to ordinary office work.) As long as your case is the kind of case we deal with, whereby we are willing to take it on, then the outcome is usually both client satisfaction and our own.

Different kinds of cases have different considerations, so it's best to just send us an e-mail explaining the nature of the information or service you want. It can be a brief message before you collect information on your end, and we will tell you whether we are willing to take on your assignment, and give you a ballpark figure for the cost and terms. The final figure and terms come after further discussion and analysis.

We ask that you contact us initially via Internet at
